Season three opens with a few secrets in the love department as Mac starts up an affair with the beautiful and smart coroner Dr. Peyton Driscoll. His co-workers Danny Messer and Lindsay Monroe have chemistry behind the crime scenes; however Lindsay’s past experiences make it hard for her to start a relationship.

The Season opens with two bungee jumpers discovering a crime scene and the death of a young heiress whose causality is tied to cockfighting.
